Holidays

Yes I know these post's are very late but I want to keep a record of the things we do and have done so here it goes anyway!!
We left for Reebok... A little Town just outside of Mossel's Bay... albeit later than we would have liked to the drive did feel like it took forever but the kids were so good. We took farely long stops especially for our almost two year old who genrally un strap himself... and who also gets car sick... but luckily he did not do that to bad so since he was happy I decided to push on ahead and get little further before changing him, figuring he might just do it again and then its another whole long stop. We stopped at a lovely farm stall for about two hours had something to eat and the kids could play on all the jungle gym equipment. We set out again and our boys were so good... When we arrived at the house after fall our stopping Mommy and Daddy were exhausted but the kids were ready action!!!Unpacking after driving in my book is the worst... Why does one need so much stuff for one week???? The time there was awesome we went to the beach... Looked at all the cows and bulls down the road... and the best of all we went to the Knysna Elephant park and the kids loved it and Daniel was not scared at all. Joshua wanted to go to the guide as he knew he could get closer to them!!! It was an awesome experience! It is quite pricey though! We went to a shoe factory shop and bought some shoes at good prices! It was awesome as always... Driving back was much of the same but we did manage to get moving earlier... Joshua also managed to bring up more!!! Yuck anything packed near to him had to be washed!!!

School play!

Daniel took part in a school play and he was the shepherd in it!!! There was loads of excitement from him but on the day he had his reservations about being on stage but yet my very very shy boy did so well!He actually went right up to the mike to sing. You made Mommy and Daddy so proud... All those weeks of singing the shepherd song... When it was all over he wanted to know when he could be a shepherd again??? Well as it happened the church was planning a play but unfortunately we were doing so many things that day that we got there at the tail end. But was good to see and chat to everyone afterwards!

birthday parties

our little (well not so little any more) niece turns 5!

It seems that all we do is kiddies birthday parties but I guess that is life now!!! It was a nice and relaxed party and a good catch up with some family too! The kids had fun on the jumping castle!

Colin slipped in a birthday too! We just had family over for some tea and cake at his folks place! very very chilled... With all the effort that goes into planning a kiddies party I am not keen on doing parties for Mom and Dad too....

birthday parties

two birthday's in one day!!!

One of Daniel's school friends had a birthday party in the morning and my cousin's little boy had his party in the afternoon. Well Joshua kept me very busy at the first birthday party as Colin had gone to the Dr and I was left alone with a crazy toddler who thought he could do anything!!! My nerves. My kids had a ball it was an awesome dinosaur party. Then we did a made dash home and was off to the other side of the world for yet another party... We had to pick up my cousin and her son and so the ride in the car was rather long for my kids so not long after us all squishing into the car did we have to stop as Joshua was screaming and screaming and nothing but nothing would stop him except to have a break from his car seat.... Needless to say we arrived very late for the next party but at least we mad it and all the kids had a ball.We then headed back to Sea Point to drop my cousin off and ended up having a nice chat to my Aunt and Uncle but at least all the kids were fed by my lovely cousin Shannon and our fell asleep in the car! It was so sweet watching them play together!
