We had a sick boy on Friday and Saturday so we just chilled at home.
Sunday we went to church and then Daniel had a snooze and we headed off to the spur for some yummy food.Monday was a public holiday so we took Daniel to Scallywags for some play time with other kids.

We spent Tuesday the 21st of April with Berny,Tristan and all the kids and parents got to catch up. I made a macoroni and Jo made a salad and we had garlic bread and Nats made a malva pudding.all in all loads of yummy food and a good time was had by all.
Wednesday morning I was still looking for my Id book so that I could vote I then resorted to sitting at home affairs in the queue since about ten to three till something to eight what a day wasted. At least my vote was counted.....

Shopping,Shopping,shopping....
we went to Blue Route to exchange some goodies and while we were there wee bumped into Berny and old freind of mine who is currently living over seas. I was so glad to see her and arranged a time to meet later that day.
The kids slept and we were able to catch up.
We then made a made dash home to get ready for pizza and movie at Rods place. Off course Mom was on sleep duty so she missed most of the movie.
It was a great evening out though.
Church and a realxed filled sunday.

Bathtime Routine
Bath time Routine!
Daniel will not go bath without his Dada there for this process. Last night Colin felt ill and I asked Daniel several times to come and bath and he repeatedly said no. He went to the room where Colin was lying down took both hands and lead him to the bathroom. He will only bath if both his parents are there for the cleaning process.
Sick or not we have to be involved in it.

Doctor appointment
Doctor's appointment.
Well after a week end of fun I had to go to the Doctor for a check up on Tuesday morning. He asked me a couple of questions and then did a scan and thank you Lord it all looked good. He said there was no need for any medical procedures.
Thankfully emotionally I have taken the whole thing very well and I am glad it all happened naturally. Praise be to our God

Easter Week End Fun
We went to the show called a handful of keys for our fourth wedding anniversary absolutely brilliant. Aunt Jo baby sat Daniel and we got home quite late so we were not in church Friday morning. We went to Natalie and Marco for and Easter egg hunt for the kids . Daniel was more interested in playing than with Easter eggs. We got home rather late. On Saturday I got up and took a walk with Daniel to Mamacos to purchase some wool. I spent the rest of the lazing around.Sunday was off to church and then it was time for Daniels nap and then play time then it was time to head to church once more.
Monday we headed off to The Cape Garden centre which had loads of fun and games for Daniel inside and out.We then popped in to Rod and Nicky to say hi and then raced off home to meet and feed Oupa Henry.
Then was our Usual routine getting ready for another week of work.

Daniel's second Birthday
Daniel's second Birthday!
Well we sarted Sunday on a bad note! I think we were all tired but never the less we went to church (TCC) and then went to Colin's sister's place to drop some things we borrowd. We then went home packed a bad to go picnic with Ouma and Oupa.We needed to stop a Pick n Pay to grab some more rolls and vianas. Daniel I and Ouma went into the shop.When we came out some guy had parked Colin in and said he knocked his car. There was no mark on our car and this guy did not have a licence and his number plate was in the windscreen.
He knew the policmen as he called him by name on the telephone.The cops took a statement did not fine him for one not having a license with him and secondly not having a number plate. What a way to spend first off a Sunday and secondly Daniels birrthday.
This guy's girlfriend got all defensive when we questioned her about the Number plate and called us names ect.
The cop came over and said we must get in the car and I told him No I would not. I have a little one and it is hot in the car. So we went for a walk in Pick n Pay.
We went to the beach and Daniel had a great time playing in the sand!
When we got home we opened some presents and the it was bath,story,and bed time.
Dad went to church and I tidied the house!
This other guy called the cops and we may have to go to court so sort it out!

Train Party
Party!
I started baking on Thursday night and got to bed rather late. Friday night we went to pick Daniel up and went to the Pick n Pay to buy the last minute things. When we arrived home we had to get the birthday boy to bed. I spent the rest of the night baking and making pastries.I went to bed at around 3am and could not sleep from about 6am. I eventually got up and rushed preparing the food and putting up stations for the train party!
Thankfully most of our guests were late and Daniel woke up just in time for his party!!!
We did not do any structured games they all just played with whatever they wanted to!
We had stations called Present Station,Sand Station,Water Station,Drawing Station,Puzzle and book Station,Toy Station,ball station and an animal station.
The kids all had loads of fun and lots of food and sweets to eat.
Colin's sister made the cake for me,she really does make stunning cakes!!!

Force Feeding
Force Feeding!
I do not agree with force feeding a toddler as I believe they know if they are hungry or not!
I believe even a toddler should have freedom of a choice to a certain degree!
I am sure they will not staff them selves. Why do some people feel the need to give junk when a toddler wont eat just so they have something in their tummies. Do they honstly think they would want to eat food if they were given sweets???

Well I got up sorted everything out and we left a little bit late and when we got to Colin's parents to drop Daniel off. I realised I had not packed the bottles in. Colin was not to impressed by that as he would now have to go back home to fetch it.The mornings and evenings are always such a rush.So I really would prefer to stay at home.So we were late again.

We went to Canal walk after work and it was just such a difference to get out of the rat race. We found a duvet that we liked and bought it for Daniel as this child of ours is normally never covered and throws everthing of him. When I went to check on him this morning he was still coverd and in a deep sleep. It worked!
